"Unless we think and act local, there will be no local"

In 1993 Stuart Williams co-created the global platform of "Making A Profit While Making A Difference". Since that time, he and his family have focused on using the premise of doing well by doing good, to create a new, community-centric, fully inclusive economic model that help communities become economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable for all residents. The result is Impact Economics, which is now being rolled out in communities across America and in fact the world.
When building the Impact Economics model, the Williams family realized that there were numerous innovations and platforms being built with the purpose of supporting one or more segments or stakeholders of a community. For this reasons, the LOCAP was created as an open source repository of vetted and validated innovations that can be embedded in communities across the world.

Nine years ago, the Williams family started embedding Impact Economics in Charleston, SC and the results have been remarkable (see Charleston). Two months before COVID Mr. Vishal Patel and his family convinced Stuart to help them build LOCAP, and today, the vision they had has come to life.
