Is to provide communities with the platforms they need to become economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable for all residents.
Is a country where local communities have a reduced reliance on Federal Government by creating economic vibrancy in a manner that is inclusive and that can be accessed by all.
Is to make business, economics, and capitalism freely accessible to all residents so that they can innovate their way out of being reliant upon the Federal Government.
"Unless we think and act local, there will be no local"
~ Sean Flannery
Local Business Owner
In 1993 Stuart Williams co-created the global platform of "Making A Profit While Making A Difference". Since that time, he and his family have focused on using the premise of doing well by doing good, to create a new, community-centric, fully inclusive economic model that help communities become economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable for all residents. The result is Impact Economics, which is now being rolled out in communities across America and in fact the world.
When building the Impact Economics model, the Williams family realized that there were numerous innovations and platforms being built with the purpose of supporting one or more segments or stakeholders of a community. For this reasons, the LOCAP was created as an open source repository of vetted and validated innovations that can be embedded in communities across the world.
Nine years ago, the Williams family started embedding Impact Economics in Charleston, SC and the results have been remarkable (see Charleston). Two months before COVID Mr. Vishal Patel and his family convinced Stuart to help them build LOCAP, and today, the vision they had has come to life.
Unless We Act Local Now, There Will be No Local
Stuart is the co-creator of the global platform known as "Making A Profit While Making A Difference". Created in 1993, it became the catalyst for Impact Economics, which is a place-based, inclusive economic model, that uses edited forms of business, economics, and capitalism to create communities that are economically, socially, and environmentally for all residents.
Vishal has a remarkable life story that has resulted in him wishing to give back to people and the communities they live in. At 42 years of age, Vishal has been incredibly successful in business, plus, he has remarkably fought back from two debilitating strokes. Vishal is the driving force behind LOCAP and its mission.
